    Job Description


    1. Consultation and Patient Understanding: The successful candidate will consult with patients to understand their symptoms, health concerns, and medical history.
    2. Disease Diagnosis and Treatment: They will diagnose and treat acute illnesses, such as bacterial and viral infections, chronic diseases, and conditions like hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes.
    3. Prescription and Administration: The MD(Radiologist) will prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
    4. Explaining Procedures and Test Results: They will explain procedures, discuss test results, or prescribed treatments with patients.
    5. Patient Monitoring and Progress Evaluation: The successful candidate will monitor patients' conditions and progress, re-evaluate treatments as necessary, and make adjustments accordingly.
    6. Health and Wellness Advice: They will provide health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
    7. Immunization: The MD(Radiologist) will immunize patients against preventable diseases.
    8. Medical Records and Referrals: They will maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results. When necessary, they will refer patients to other medical specialists.
    9. Long-term Care Support: The successful candidate will provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
    10. Research and Development: They will conduct research into the testing and development of new medications, methods of treatment, or procedures to prevent or control illness, disease, or injury.

    Desired Candidate Profile


    1. Education: A Bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field is required.
    2. Medical Degree: The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of medicine (MD) degree or a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree.
    3. Clinical Experience: 3 to 7 years' internship and clinical residency training, specializing in internal medicine, is preferred.
    4. Certification: Successful completion of the Internal Medicine Certification Examination and certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in internal medicine are mandatory.
    5. Licensure: A valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice is essential.
    6. Skills and Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding research and analytical skills, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients, are required.
