    Description

    This is a remote

    NEP's LeadField Technician is primarily responsible for supporting NEPIntegrated Solutions events and projects by providing onsiteinstallation, service, and support of Broadcast equipment and TheField Technician works closely with key partners throughout eachproject including onsite customers, integrators, broadcast clients,and NEP Integrated Solutions

    • Responsible foronsite scheduling for the crew, as well as, keeping theprojectdocumentationof all daily field activities asrequired
    • Coordinating withengineering to ensure gear is functioningcorrect
    • Responsible foronsite installation/equipment setup
    • Performsadvanced testing and troubleshooting for both copper and opticalfiberinstallations
    • Discussesand evaluates numerous specific applications of ICT cableinstallation
    • Makesrecommendations based on applicable codes, standards and bestpractices
    • Implementsthe job plan and scope of work as well as performs retrofits andupgrades to existinginfrastructure


    Requirements

    • Knowledgeof BNC, RJ45 & fiber opticcabling
    • Knowledgeof Video of IP as well as basebandvideo
    • Fiberoptic termination andtesting
    • StrongExcelSkills
    • Understandingof IP address structure and how toconfigure
    • Experiencewith electronicstroubleshooting
    • Abilityto lead a crew of 3-5 people and maintain projecttimeline
    • Strongskills in documentation of installationprogress
    • Stronganalytical skills, ability to collect and analyze information,problem-solve, and makedecisions
    • Previous constructionexperience or background aplus
    • 75%travelrequired
