Job Summary:
Responsibilities:

Menu Planning: Design weekly menus that showcase authentic French cuisine while considering the preferences and dietary requirements of the household members.

Ingredient Sourcing: Procure fresh, high-quality ingredients from local markets, specialty stores, and trusted suppliers. Ensure ingredients are of the finest quality and in line with the standards expected for French cuisine.

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, techniques, and culinary traditions of French cuisine. Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking methods including braising, roasting, sautéing, and baking.

Creativity: Exhibit creativity and innovation in menu development, presentation, and flavor combinations while maintaining the authenticity of French cuisine.

Culinary Expertise: Showcase mastery of French culinary techniques, including but not limited to sauce making, pastry baking, and charcuterie preparation.

Kitchen Management: Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance. Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Special Events: Prepare and execute meals for special occasions and events hosted by the household, such as dinner parties, celebrations, and intimate gatherings.

Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with household members regarding menu preferences, dietary restrictions, and feedback on meals.

Flexibility: Adapt menus and meal plans as needed based on seasonal availability of ingredients, last-minute requests, and dietary changes.

Professionalism: Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, demonstrating discretion, integrity, and respect for the privacy of the household.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Private Chef, preferably with a focus on French cuisine.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a reputable culinary institute.
- Extensive knowledge of French culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and dietary preferences.
- Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in private households or with highprofile clients.
- Proficiency in additional cuisines and culinary styles.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices.
