    Job Summary.

    Reporting to the Senior Business Director, the Supply Chain Manager, DBS, Middle East will manage and co-ordinate the supply chain and logistics department to ensure operations run timely and efficiently for all Downhole Broadband Solutions (DBS) projects in the Middle East region, meeting and exceeding internal and external expectations and obligations.

    The Supply Chain Manager position is key to our service delivery and overall success of NOV's MD Totco DBS business within the Middle East region.

    You will utilize your supply chain management and logistics skills to plan and improve business performance ensuring all equipment, inventory and assets are provided and delivered on-time for project execution and continuous operations.

    Further, you will develop and implement action plans in alignment with the global processes and quality programs.

    Crucial to this role will be your ability to drive continuous improvement, enhancing the overall service process, performance, and capabilities for our business to surpass metric expectations and targets.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Managing the regional (MEA) logistics and supply chain team and operation (Import/Export).Managing the day-to-day asset utilization across the region, as well as establishing/maintaining asset & inventory related performance & productivity metrics, and cost management processes.

    Monitor, maintain and track, assets, Inventory, and deliverables to ensure operations run effectively.
    Managing all DBS Assets and Inventory in the region including Cycle and Physical counts.
    Managing and coordinating all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies.

    Maintain continuous focus on keeping a healthy balance of Working CapitalManaging and processing Third Party rental and sales equipment within delivery timelinesBuild and maintain good working relationships with Intercompany BUs, vendors, and 3rd Parties.

    Managing all regional Repair & Returns including RGAs and RMAs.
    Overseeing the warehouse operations and operators in MEA locations.
    Collate project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
    Drive local supply chain service delivery process to improve performance and team effectiveness.

    Training and facilitating training needs for the regional teams with, but not limited to; ERP Systems, JDE, TAT, ePMS and Logistics processes.

    Teamwork oriented with good leadership skills.

    Essential:


    Degree or similar experienceExperience in a similar operational position within Oil and Gas segment10+ years Industry ExperienceGood knowledge in International (MEA) logistics (Import/Export) processes and regulations and Incoterms.

    Inventory Management and OptimizationSupply and Demand ManagementExperience with supply chain management software.
    ERP and asset tracking SystemsComputer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook)International IncotermsDangerous good handling


    Desirable:
