    Job Title: Proposal Engineer

    At Rejlers International Engineering Solutions in Abu Dhabi, UAE, we deliver high-quality engineering and project services to Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries.

    We share a strong Nordic engineering heritage of high quality and frontline innovations. Our team is now looking for a Proposal Engineer to work directly with customers, estimates, proposals, bids, and negotiations in Abu Dhabi.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Understand customer needs and explain technical scope requirements.
    2. Manage proposal development and submission process to clients.
    3. Provide pre-sales support, ensuring adherence to processes and obtaining necessary approvals.
    4. Review prospects and present its viability for Rejlers.
    5. Develop comprehensive bid plans with clear roles, actions, and timelines.
    6. Manage bidding, facilitating communication between technical, solution, commercial, and contractual teams.
    7. Ensure quality control of proposal content, solution, costing, and pricing components aligned with client requirements and business goals.
    8. Coordinate client presentations and workshops to support deal closure.
    9. Assist in contract/SOW completion, collaborating with internal teams and 3rd party vendors when required.
    10. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with proposed projects.
    11. Ensure compliance with Company's Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Energy standards.
    12. Ensure Sales process compliance within internal approval and Quality gateways.
    13. Present and meet clients as needed.
    14. Provide additional information or clarifications requested by clients after proposal submission.
    15. Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to improve future proposals.
    16. Stay updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to refine proposal strategies continuously.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    2. A master's degree in engineering, project management, or business administration can be advantageous.
    3. Previous experience executing proposals in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Chemical industries.
    4. Minimum 10 years' experience in Sales as Inside Sales/Proposal Engineer, Design or Project Engineer.
    5. UAE Oil and Gas market knowledge is mandatory.
    6. Excellent Time and Deadline Management skills.
    7. Good communication and relationship building skills.
    8. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, understand their needs, and present solutions.
    9. Solid understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
    10. Precision in preparing technical and commercial documents.
    11. Ability to adapt to fast-paced and often challenging assignments.
    12. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

    Preferred Skills:

    1. UAE/ADNOC & Middle East experience.
    2. Fluent in English (Arabic will be an added value).
    3. Shares company values of teamwork, transparency, honesty, and equality.
    4. Meets UAE visa requirements.
