Weare currently seeking a highly driven Sales Manager/Shipping who can manage territory and account coverage effectively and improve understanding of how best to generate profit for the company.

This role requires industry knowledge, ideas and the ability to execute.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the selling process to external customers, including pricing contract negotiations.
  • Maintain relationships with top accounts and participate in sales calls.
Identify account needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers, and formalize those into account plans and strategies.
Pro-actively search, qualify, develop and engage into new customer relationships.
Develop local sales support tools and assist in building individual customer strategies, including identification of up-selling opportunities.
Manage and coach a team of individuals to optimal performance including setting account strategy

  • Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
  • Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
  • Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
  • Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
  • Supervise and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers etc.)
  • Control budget of the shipping department
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
  • Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
  • Report to management on activities and issues
  • Requirements and skills
  • Proven experience as shipping manager
  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
  • Experience in using EDI and preparing shipping documents (e.g. ASN)
  • Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Good understanding of budgeting and reporting
  • Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
  • Excellent organizational and communication skillscreating account plans, proposal development, negotiation and service delivery. Set goals with the team and track progress using KPIs and take corrective action where necessary.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree

At least (5) years' experience in Sales Manager/Shipping

Experience in Shipping and logistic industry is a must.

Excellent communication & good command of English.
