About the Role
A Contract Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of any construction project in Dubai. They are responsible for managing all aspects of contracts, from initial negotiation and drafting to administration and closeout. This ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:

Review and analyze contracts for completeness and accuracy.
Identify and manage risks associated with contracts.
Oversee the administration of contracts, including variations, extensions of time, and claims.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Prepare and issue contractrelated documents, such as payment requests, change orders, and notices.

Contract Negotiation and Drafting:

Participate in contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Draft and review contracts to ensure they meet the company's requirements and protect its interests.
Stay uptodate on relevant construction laws and regulations in Dubai.

Communication and Relationship Management:

Maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders involved in the project.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, contract law, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of FIDIC and other relevant construction contracts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to negotiate and resolve complex issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working in Dubai is a plus.
