Summary:


As the Financial Officer (FO) of the DFSA 3a brokerage entity, you will play a pivotal role in financial operations and regulatory reporting.

Responsible for overseeing financial matters in compliance with the DFSA regulations, you will also be in charge of regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions, including MIFID, MIFIR, and EMIR.

Your expertise in financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks will ensure accurate and timely reporting for several entities within the brokerage.


Responsibilities:


Financial Operations Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the DFSA 3a brokerage entity, ensuring compliance with DFSA regulations and relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage financial transactions, including settlements, payments, and receipts, while maintaining accurate and transparent financial records.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to promote efficiency and effective risk management.

Regulatory Reporting:

  • Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to the DFSA and other relevant regulatory authorities in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Stay updated with regulatory requirements, including MIFID, MIFIR, and EMIR, to ensure compliance in all reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and entities to gather necessary data and information for regulatory reporting purposes.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:

  • Prepare and monitor the brokerage's budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking and resource allocation.

Multi-entity Reporting:

  • Manage the regulatory reporting process for several entities within the brokerage, ensuring accuracy and consistency in submissions.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to collect and consolidate financial data for reporting purposes.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in financial management and regulatory reporting within the financial services industry, with expertise in MIFID, MIFIR, and EMIR regulations.
  • Deep understanding of the DFSA rulebook and other relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards and reporting requirements in different jurisdictions.
  • Proficient in financial software, accounting systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with crossfunctional teams and multiple entities within the brokerage.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and implement necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.
