Trains develops and motivates supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards consistently.

Should be able to provide direction for all daytoday operations in the kitchen.
Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
Creating schedules for all kitchen staff
Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
Ensures all kitchen employees maintain required food handling and sanitation certifications.
Discuss daily food cost reports with key kitchen and F&B team members.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain Quality levels of receiving, storage, production, and presentation of food

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 2 years as Sous Chef or a similar position, with a proven track record of success in hotel/s or fine dining sector.
With full HACCP proficiency and expertise in Food Watch System; certified supervising food safety or equivalent

3. diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management; is preferred.

Strong organizational and leadership acumen with a talent to motivate and develop team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Exceptional culinary expertise with proficiency in different cooking techniques and diverse.

Ability to commute/relocate:
