Description
Trains develops and motivates supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards consistently.

  • Should be able to provide direction for all daytoday operations in the kitchen.
  • Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
  • Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
  • Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
  • Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
  • Creating schedules for all kitchen staff
  • Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
  • Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
  • Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
  • Ensures all kitchen employees maintain required food handling and sanitation certifications.
  • Discuss daily food cost reports with key kitchen and F&B team members.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain Quality levels of receiving, storage, production, and presentation of food

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years as Sous Chef or a similar position, with a proven track record of success in hotel/s or fine dining sector.
  • With full HACCP proficiency and expertise in Food Watch System; certified supervising food safety or equivalent
3. diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management; is preferred.


  • Strong organizational and leadership acumen with a talent to motivate and develop team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Exceptional culinary expertise with proficiency in different cooking techniques and diverse.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Hospitality: 4 years (required)
