Interior Designer - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Riviera Hotel Dubai
Description
Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, and budgetary constraints, and develop design concepts that align with their vision and objectives.
- Conduct site evaluations, space planning analyses, and programming studies to assess spatial layouts, circulation patterns, and ergonomic considerations for interior spaces.
- Develop mood boards, concept presentations, and design sketches to communicate design ideas, color schemes, material selections, and furniture layouts to clients and project stakeholders.
- Produce detailed interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings, using computeraided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
- Select and specify interior finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements that enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and ambiance of interior spaces, while adhering to project budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and tradespeople to integrate interior design elements with architectural plans, structural systems, and building codes.
- Source and procure furniture, fabrics, accessories, and artwork from vendors, manufacturers, and specialty suppliers, ensuring quality, durability, and compatibility with design concepts.
- Prepare detailed specifications, material boards, and procurement schedules for client approval, and manage the procurement process, including vendor negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery logistics.
- Provide project management support, including coordinating project timelines, tracking deliverables, and overseeing onsite installations, to ensure that design projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary design teams, including architects, landscape architects, and MEP engineers, to integrate interior design solutions with overall project objectives and client expectations.
- Stay abreast of current trends, innovations, and best practices in interior design, sustainable design, and emerging technologies, and integrate relevant ideas and concepts into design projects.
- Uphold ethical standards, professional integrity, and client confidentiality in all aspects of interior design practice, including respecting copyright laws and intellectual property rights.
Salary:
AED2, AED4,000.00 per month
