    Description
    An excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a Finance Director role in a reputed real estate company based in Dubai.
    Job Responsibilities;

    • Lead and direct the Corporate Finance and M& A function to ensure delivery of high quality, accurate and timely advice and services the group
    • Provide effective strategic leadership in the development of a group level finance strategy-encompassing both short term and long term financing plan- including preparing long term and short term financial forecast of financial performance for your use with internal management and external parties
    • Provide professional input regarding valuation of various key assets of the firm with the overriding objective of developing a company valuation.
    • Prepare a detailed Business Plan and strategy of the Group with keeping a close eye on the development
    • Advice on various turnaround and restructuring matters to management and board covering the various commercial and financial liabilities ,investment strategy encompassing current and planned development and investment projects, join venture/ alliance development.
    • Lead and manage the budgeting process
    • Overall cash management on an ongoing basis
    • Formulation of annual budgets and targets
    • Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
    • Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly updates
    • Presentation of annual accounts with recommendations
    • Review of accounts and investigation of variances then setting recovery plans
    • Treasury matters
    • Capital expenditure – evaluation and preparation of submissions
    • Insurance/ risk management
    • Setting annual cost rates and prices for customers
    • Close involvement in commercial negotiations with customers
    • Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
    Key selection criteria;

    • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting / Finance
    • Qualified member of an accountancy body (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA)
    • Significant experience in finance, with at least five years in senior management in Real Estate.
    • Experience of managing professional staffThe ideal candidate should be;
    • Fully qualified with all levels of experience
    • Excellent commercial and business experience
    • Exceptional communication skills at all levels
    • Strong IT skills, always ahead of new technologies
    • Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making
