Responsibilities:

MEP Coordination: Coordinate the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems within interior fit-out projects, ensuring they align with project requirements, design intent, and building codes.

Interior Fit-Out Integration: Collaborate with interior designers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to seamlessly integrate MEP systems with interior finishes, fixtures, and furniture layouts.

Design Review: Review MEP drawings, specifications, and documents in coordination with interior design plans to identify conflicts, discrepancies, and spatial constraints.

Value Engineering: Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize MEP systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and aesthetic compatibility with interior design elements.

Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with MEP subcontractors and interior fit-out contractors to ensure clear communication, adherence to project schedules, and quality workmanship.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify that MEP installations within interior spaces meet industry standards, design specifications, and client expectations.

Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of MEP and interior fit-out work, providing regular updates to project stakeholders and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.

Change Management: Manage changes to MEP systems and interior fit-out elements, documenting change orders, assessing impacts on cost and schedule, and obtaining necessary approvals.

Commissioning Support: Assist with the commissioning and testing of MEP systems within interior spaces to ensure they perform as intended and meet project requirements.

Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding MEP coordination and interior fit-out matters, addressing questions, concerns, and providing updates as needed.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, or related field. Professional engineering licensure or relevant certifications preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in MEP coordination, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing MEP systems within interior fit-out projects.

Interior Fit-Out Expertise: Specialized knowledge and experience in coordinating MEP systems within the context of interior construction and fit-out projects, including familiarity with interior design principles and materials.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and familiarity with interior design software and visualization tools.
