    Officer Central Operations Job Work location: Dubai
    Preferred Candidate: National Only

    JobPurpose

    To provide back officeoperational support with a view to achieving timely and accuratedelivery of service in line with banks laid down procedures policesand service level agreements.

    KeyAccountabilities

    To carry out a rangeof processing and verification functions ensuring that the workassigned has been completed within specified timelines andaccurately in line with all specified internal and externalguidelines policies procedures and rules.
    • Respond to internal and externalcustomers promptly and courteously always providing adequateclarification on the information being given.
    • Undertake other duties at a similar level whenrequired.
    • Undertake duties at a higher levelas required when requested by line management
    • To make suggestions as appropriate to improvethe efficiency and effectiveness of the Banks procedures
    • Resolves process problems and trouble shootsand performs verification/investigation of information outsidenormal procedures.
    • Immediate escalation to theManager Operations of any breach risk or loss event suspected.
    • Perform user acceptance testing pertaining tooperations
    • Perform business continuityrecovery team activities

    Job Context

    Education

    A minimumbachelors degree in a business related field or equivalent

    Experience andSkills

    WorkExperience:
    A minimum 3 years prior experiencein banking operations.

    Basiccomputer skills
    An understanding of AML within the UAEand Central Bank regulations relating to transactional processing
    Good English language aptitude
