- Issues tools asrequired
- Maintains accurate records of toolstaken and returned
- Identifies broken tools andsends them for repairs
- Replaces missingtools
- Maintains consumables stocklevels
- Facilitates the operations of the partsroom by doing the following:
- Issuesparts/supplies to personnel uponrequest
- Performs goods receipt of incomingshipments
- Picks inventory asrequired
- Puts parts away in properlocations
- Ensuring the parts room is clean andorganized
- Conducts inventorycounts
- Restocks parts room asrequired
- Ability to operateforklift
- Assists Mammoet employees inidentifying parts and materials
- Createspurchase orders as required, ensures accurate ordering of parts andmaterials for EMD inventory andprojects
- Ensures accuracy of inventory,controls stock level, and reports to parts room supervisordiscrepancies
- Performs other PurchasingDepartment functions as required
- Uses andmaintains the computerized inventory/purchasing management systemin SAP
- High school diploma orequivalent
- Post-secondary education inPurchasing or Parts Person designation is anasset
- Basic to intermediate computerskills
- 1-2 years of parts roomexperience
- Experience with parts manuals andidentifying components and parts is anasset
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
- Experience with SAPdatabase system is an asset
- Ability to work with others andindependently
