Finishing line Supervisor - Fettering
B.E / Diploma

More than 6 years experience in foundry post production activity. sound knowledge in fettling of manhole castings and sound knowledge of powder coating and epoxy coatings. Should be capable of handling one shift independtly as per target and sould be self motivated.

Supervision and Leadership:
a. Lead, supervise, and train fettling operators to ensure they work efficiently and safely.
b. Schedule work assignments and tasks for the fettling team.

Quality Control:
a. Inspect castings or forgings for defects and imperfections.
b. Ensure the proper removal of excess material, burrs, and other irregularities in the components.
c. Implement quality control measures to meet industry and company standards.

Safety Compliance:
a. Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to protect employees and equipment.
b. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.

Equipment Maintenance:
a. Oversee the maintenance of fettling equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
b. Arrange for repairs and replacements as needed.

Productivity and Efficiency:
a. Optimize fettling processes for improved efficiency and reduced waste.
b. Set production targets and ensure they are met.

Documentation:
a. Maintain accurate records of production, quality control checks, and maintenance activities.
b. Report on daily, weekly, and monthly production metrics.

Team Development:
a. Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for fettering team members.
