POSITIONSUMMARY

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicatewith guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little tono supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools andequipment including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspecttools equipment or machines. Carry equipment (e.g. tools radio).Identify locate and operate all shutoff valves for equipment.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and suppliesas needed. Assure each days activities and problems that occur arecommunicated to the other shifts using approved communicationprograms and standards.

Display advanced ability to read standardblue prints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing and HVAC.Display above average engineering operations skills and stronggeneral mechanical ability.

Display proficiency in at least threeof the following categories above average skills in three more ofthe following categories and basic skills in the remainingcategories:

air conditioning and refrigeration electricalmechanical plumbing pneumatic/electronic systems and controlscarpentry and finish skills kitchen equipment vehicles energyconservation and/or general building management.

Display solidknowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools andother materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.

Safely perform highly complex repairs of the physical propertyelectrical plumbing and mechanical equipment air conditionersrefrigeration and pool heaters ensuring all methods materials andpractices meet company standards and Local and National codes withlittle or no supervision.

Troubleshoot and perform repairs on alltypes of equipment (e.g. pump and motor replacement) plumbing toilets and unclog drains) electrical equipment includinglamps air conditioners HVAC equipment cosmetic items extensioncords vacuum cleaners internet devices replace electrical switchesand outlets and program TVs. Use the Lockout/Tagout system beforeperforming any maintenance work.

Display advanced knowledge of allengineering computer programs related to preventative maintenanceenergy management and other systems including devices that interactwith such programs.

Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotelMechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Display theability to train and mentor other engineers as necessary. Displayability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities includingreadings and rounds.

Follow all company and safety and security policies andprocedures; report any maintenance problems safety hazardsaccidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications;and properly store flammable materials.

Ensure uniform and personalappearances are clean and professional maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information and protect company assets.

Welcome andacknowledge all guests according to company standards anticipateand address guests service needs assist individuals withdisabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Adhere toquality expectations and standards.

Develop and maintain positiveworking relationships with others support team to reach commongoals and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of otheremployees.

Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than orequal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting ormovement tasks with assistance.

Move up and down stairs serviceramps and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees includingbending twisting pulling and stooping. Enter and locate workrelatedinformation using computers. Perform other reasonable job duties asrequested.
