TPFRecruitment is supporting a fantastic independent firm of charteredaccountants in Sittingbourne who are looking for an AccountsManager to join their successful team. You will work in a mixedaccounts and tax capacity but you will also have the opportunity towork in audit, or management accounts too, should you wish. Theremit of the position, and the portfolio can be built around thecandidate, and theiraspirations.

Youwill be responsiblefor:

• Draftand finalise financial year end accounts using IRIS for a portfolioof LTDs and LLPs
  
• Undertakefinancial close procedures for the month end, includinginter-company balance reconciliations
  
• Preparing/ reviewing management accounts and month end reconciliations,including commentary
  
• Preparing/ reviewing extended trial balances including the final year endtrial balance
  
• Preparing/ revieiwing corporation tax computation calculations and basic taxplanning
  
• Dealingwith the preparation and/or reviewing the completion of VATreturns, includingECSales and Intrastat returns
  
• Holdclient meetings advising them of potential Tax/Accountingimplications
  
• Usecloud accounting tools to process transactions, prepare and postjournals, update all ledgers, perform bank reconciliations readyfor the monthly reportingprocess
  

Requirements

• BeACA or ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, or qualified byexperience
  
• Havea minimum of 5 years practical experience in a similar practicebasedrole.
