Ophthalmologist Duties AndResponsibilities

• Ensure high-quality patientcare
• Work in a multidisciplinary team withother doctors and staff
• Conduct routine eyeexamination
• Perform tests onpatients
• Prescribe initial eye careproducts
• Perform minorsurgeries
• Provide specialised eye treatmentsand therapy
• Prescribe various treatmentplans
• Inform Optometrist about patientcondition
• Instruct interns, residents, orothers in ophthalmologic procedures andtechniques
• Stay up to date with trends in thecare, diagnosis and treatment of eyedisorders
• Develop or implement plans andprocedures for ophthalmologic services
  

OphthalmologistRequirements And Qualifications

• Previous working experience as anOphthalmologist for 3 year(s)
• A Specialisationdegree in Ophthalmology
• In-depth knowledge oftreatments for chronic eye diseases
• Outstandingcommunication and interpersonalskills
• Excellent pati ent managementskills
• Impeccable hand -eyecoordination
