    Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, enthusiastic English teacher to join our growing English department .

    PACE British School Sharjah is a UK National Curriculum school and a member of COBIS and BSME. All teachers are UK (or equivalent) qualified.

    PACE British School was opened in 2019 and now has over 1400 students ranging from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 12. We are excited to have our first cohort of students entering Edexcel International AS levels in June 2024.

    We offer the Edexcel IGCSE in English as a First Language.

    We start our IGCSE courses in Year 9 in order to cover the content, as we have a 4-day week in Sharjah. Our present year 9 are studying both Language and Literature.

    The PACE Group has 16 successful schools and further education facilities in the region, offering excellent education at affordable prices.

    The right candidate will have a passion for outstanding teaching and learning, an ability to meet individual needs, an enthusiasm for the subject and instilling that enthusiasm in others. Experience of EAL/ ESL teaching would be an advantage.

    A recognised UK (or equivalent) teaching qualification;

    Experience of the UK National Curriculum including GCSE's or IGCSE's;

    A passion and drive for outstanding teaching and learning;
