Position Overview:
As an Estimation Engineer specializing in water and wastewater pumping stationswithin the UAE youll be entrusted with the critical task of accurately assessing project costs and preparingcomprehensive bid proposals.
Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the competitiveness andsuccess of our projects.Key Responsibilities:
1.
Cost Estimation:
Prepare precise cost estimates for water and wastewater pumping station projects meticulouslyanalyzing project specifications drawings and relevant information.
Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements including materials labor costs and subcontractorbids
2 Bid Preparation:
Develop detailed bid proposals in response to tender invitations ensuring strict adherence to projectrequirements and specifications.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to compile technical and commercial proposals interpreting tenderdocuments comprehensively
3 Technical Evaluation:
Evaluate technical aspects of project requirements such as pump selection piping systems and controlsystems ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.

Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:
The company has been a pioneering force in the United Arab
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and servicesrequired for projects.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
5 Value Engineering:
Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality orperformance.
Propose alternative solutions or methodologies to enhance project efficiency and costeffectiveness
6 Risk Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential project risks and develop effectivemitigation strategies.
Assess the impact of risks on project cost and schedule incorporating risk allowances into cost estimates
7 Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of cost estimates bid proposals correspondence and projectrelateddocumentation.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal management and client review
8 Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers engineers designers and other team members to ensure alignmentof cost estimates with project objectives and requirements.
9 Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and best practices related to water and wastewaterpumping station projects.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of standardizedestimation procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in costing estimation, preferably in the water and wastewater sector.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, piping, screening, stormwater and sewage, and control systems.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
