- Supports the smooth running of thesafety & security department, where all aspects of safety& security are maintained to the highestlevels
- Works proactively to improve guestsatisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely responseto guest enquiries
- Delivers on plans andobjectives where safety & security initiatives &hotel targets are achieved
- Manages themaintenance team fostering a culture of growth, development andperformance within the department
- Responsiblefor the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory arecontrolled, that productivity and performance levels areattained
- Builds and maintains effective workingrelationships with all keystakeholders
- Delivers an effective plannedpreventative maintenance program addressing maintenance,environmental and conservation matters
- Ensuresadherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligencerequirements and best practice activities are planned, deliveredand documented for internal and external audit, performingfollow-up as required
- Proven experience insafety & security with excellent problem-solvingcapabilities
- Excellent managerial skills with ahands-on approach and lead-by-example workstyle
- Commitment to exceptional guest servicewith a passion for the hospitalityindustry
- Ability to find creative solutions,offering advice and recommendations
- Personalintegrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demandsexcellence, time and energy
