- Provide expert advice on furniture styles, colors, textures, and materials that complement the architectural design and create cohesive interiors.
- Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including 2D and 3D visualizations, to effectively communicate design ideas to clients, stakeholders, architects, and the broader team.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source furniture pieces that meet design specifications, architectural integrity, and quality standards.
- Work closely with the architectural project teams to ensure seamless integration of furniture design plans into the overall architectural design.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to both furniture design and architecture, ensuring alignment with the latest developments.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, if applicable, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design projects, including plans, specifications, and communication with clients and the architectural team.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous furniture design projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
