Quality Officer


Position Summary:


As a Quality Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality and efficiency of clinical services provided by the healthcare facility.

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the clinic while also implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs.

The position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to industry standards, and a keen eye for identifying areas of improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Supervision:


  • Supervise, in collaboration with the Medical Director, clinic staff, including medical professionals, nurses, administrative personnel, and support staff, to ensure adherence to policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Directory to schedule and coordinate staff shifts to maintain adequate coverage and optimal patient experience.

Quality Assurance:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare for JAWDA/TASNEEF & ADHICS audits
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of clinical processes, documentation, and patient interactions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team to address and rectify any identified quality issues promptly.

Patient Safety and Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations of Abu Dhabi Department of Health.
  • Promote and maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff alike.

Performance Evaluation:


  • Implement performance evaluation processes for clinic staff.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess clinic performance and identify areas for improvement.

Incident Management:


  • Develop and execute procedures for handling and reporting incidents, adverse events, and complaints from patients or staff members.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and collaborate with the Medical Director to implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Continuously assess clinic processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, efficiency, and overall clinic performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team and relevant stakeholders to implement approved improvements.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in clinic supervision and/or quality assurance roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills to identify and address qualityrelated issues.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and electronic medical record systems.

Salary:
AED3, AED7,000.00 per month
