MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These are primarily intended to guide the employee to the wide range and utmost level of work performance. Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues

Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel

Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople

Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly

Monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team

:

Business manager would attend the meetings along with the regional manager at regular intervals

Set individual sales targets with sales team and closely monitor the sale target for the division. To alert Business manager on the same

To follow up with regular meetings with all the customers and submit the reports to the Business manager

:

Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives

Investigate lost sales and customer accounts

:

To follow up on the load/ orders/ complaints with the customers and to guide the team

:

To organize on daily basis the visits of the sales executive to customers

:

Provide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team

:

Plan and direct sales team training

:

Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals

:

Track, collate and interpret sales figures

:

Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue

Generate timely sales reports

To ensure sales data/ analysis and figures are generated in time for the sales meetings

Develop pricing schedules and rates

Formulate sales policies and procedures

Help prepare budgets and monitor and control expenses and budgets

Maintain inventory control

To hold regular meeting with the staff and educate them on the market developments

To understand the pulse of the market /to open up new markets in UAE

Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis

To understand the market requirements / new trends / innovations / promotions and monitor competitor activities

Analyze data to identify sales opportunities

Develop promotional ideas and material

Attend trade meetings and industry conventions

Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts

Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduate degree in business or related professional qualification

Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy

Experience in managing and directing a sales team

Technical sales skills

Proven experience in customer relationship management

Presentation and negotiation skills

Knowledge of market research

Knowledge of the printing and packaging industry

Prior experience of having worked in the printing and packaging industry
