Job Description

A leading entertainment broadcast provider in the Middle East is looking to recruit a Senior CAS Engineer for their office based in Dubai.

As Senior CAS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Conditional Access Systems (CAS), the On Demand headend and associated infrastructure are maintained, operational and safe.

You will ensure that all issues raised and their resolution or ongoing status are logged and be able to confidently liaise with third party vendors.

The Senior CAS Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the CAS team resolve problems with minimal disruption to operations and that routine maintenance is performed on schedule.

Job Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of Experience within a DVB Conditional Access System engineering role
• Graduate in the relevant field of Engineering
• Clear understanding of Conditional Access, Simulcrypt, DVB signaling and multiplexing engineering and operations principles
• Clear understanding of STB technology, including OTT and PDL functionality
• Knowledge of database structures, operating systems, networking and computer operating systems, such as MS Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, etc.
• Excellent spoken and written English
