Technical Manager for - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Parkway International contracting

Description

• Lead a team of draftsmen and engineers.
• Design detail concept for shop drawings, distribute work in a team & follow up for drawing completion/submission.
• Support the company's projects technically Submittals like (structural calculations, Material, shop drawings, sample etc.)
• Attend the meetings with clients, architects, and contractors, and be clientfacing and able to solve project challenges and constraints of the other major design disciplines such as architectural, fire, acoustics, thermal, sustainability etc.
• Coordinating technical issues related to technical submittals and approvals with clients, project consultants, main contractor, HOE, third parties and regulatory authorities and proposing alternative solutions.
• Provide technical support to other departments to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction.
• Attend coordination meetings concerning all design matters.
• Resolve engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information and modify engineering techniques & recommend solutions.
• Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
• Reading the Specification and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislative specifications and standards
• To ensure structural compliance by input experience and knowledge.
