Responsibilities

• Preparation of design and detail drawings from sketches, plans or other design / specification data and vendor drawings
• Ability to coordinate with design team of other disciplines for interdisciplinary interaction
• Site visits and data collection for design
• Preparation of SLD, Schematics, interconnection diagrams
• Preparation of electrical layouts for electrical equipment, power, cable routing, earthing, lighting and hazardous area classification
• Conversant with design of HV substations up to 33 kV
• Preparation of MTO, Cable schedule and load list
• Familiarity with international codes and standard
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the company Quality Assurance system
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum qualifications - Diploma in Electrical engineering
• Strong experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems on Offshore O&G Projects preferably with ADNOC
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Exposure to offshore oil and gas facilities
• Experience with PDMS/PDS system would be an advantage
• Preference to candidates with good overall experience in engineering consultancy organisations
