    Description

    PositionResponsibilities:

    • Non-recurring and sustainingdevelopment, validation, and delivery of technicalAirplane
    • Maintenance data, Fault Isolationdata, and Integrated Planning to maintain the Instructions forContinued Airworthiness and FAA/Foreign Regulatoryrequirements
    • Analyzes complex engineeringdesigns, supplier data, and engine manufacturerdesign
    • data to determine and developmaintenance, repair, and tooling supportabilityrequirements
    • and methods for configuredprocedures and instructions.
    • Influences productdesigns and processes to ensure safety, supportability, andmaintainability.
    • Develops and uses faultisolation procedures and techniques.
    • Createssystems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding ofsystems and components.
    • Conducts engineeringanalysis to verify the accuracy of maintenance/repairdata.
    • Interfaces with customers to supportcustomer inquiries and develops technical solutions forcustomers
    • Evaluates customers'maintenance operations.
    • Develops new proceduresand techniques to allow users to maintain and repairproducts.
    • Participates in organizationalactivities that influence the AerospaceIndustry.

    Thisposition must meet Export Control compliance requirements,therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22C.F.R.

    • 120.15is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen,lawful permanent resident, refugee, orasylee.

    Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's Degree or higherin Mechanical, Aerospace, or CivilEngineering
    • 5+ years of experience in AircraftMaintenance and Aircraft Operations

    PreferredQualifications (DesiredSkills/Experience)

    • Experience in either Propulsion,Avionics, Flight Controls, Landing Gear, and/orPayloads/Interiors
    • Current or prior Airframeand Powerplant License issued by the Federal AviationAdministration
    • Prior military aircraftmaintenancepractices
    • ABET

    TypicalEducation/Experience:

    Experienced(Level 3): Education/experience typically acquiredthrough advanced technical education from an accredited course ofstudy in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics orchemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'related work experience or an equivalent combination of technicaleducation and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' relatedwork experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,although not required, accreditationstandard.
