• Ph.D. in Accounting obtained froma reputable university, preferably an internationally rankedinstitution that is also accredited byAACSB
• Professional Accounting qualificationfrom a reputable accounting body (such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA) ispreferred
• Three or more years of teachingexperience in an internationally reputable university, preferablyaccredited by AACSB
• Demonstrable record ofexcellence in developing and teaching (but not limited to)Managerial Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Taxation, Auditingand related courses at both the undergraduate and graduatelevels
• Outstanding record of research andpeer-reviewed publications in top-tier Accounting or relatedjournals
• Record of collaborative andinterdisciplinary research would be anadvantage
• Demonstrable record of supervisingstudent projects and dissertations
• Excellentrecord of professional and communityservice

ESSENTIALDUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design,deliver and assess graduate and undergraduate courses inAccounting, Taxation, Auditing and relatedareas
• Engage in innovative and technology-basedapproaches to teaching and learning
• Provideacademic advising services to students
• Conducthigh quality research and publish research outcomes in reputablejournals and conferences
• Participate incommittee and other service tasks at the department, college and/oruniversity levels as assigned
• Actively engagein promoting the growth and visibility of AjmanUniversity
• Provide consultancy and otherindustry-facing services to Ajman University partners and membersof the business community
• Actively seek outmethods, procedures and resources to best achieve course and lessonobjectives
• Perform miscellaneous job-relatedduties as assigned
