Description
As a Strategic Planning Director, you will help to define and manage the strategic priorities of Domestic Health and Health Services business in International Markets.
Specifically, you will support and drive strategy development, business planning, product strategy and strategic initiatives to pave the way for Health services business to achieve its financial and strategic objectives.
You will have accountability for leading market and competitive analysis, supporting the development of long-term strategy, translating strategy into executable plans, and managing cross-functional strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will serve as a thought partner to senior leaders, build relationships across the business and enterprise, and lead a diverse set of strategic and analytical work efforts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership for building and delivering of Domestic Health and Health Services business growth strategy.
Turn strategy into reality by translating strategy into defined tactics, programs, product roadmaps and timelines to ensure alignment and attainment of Domestic Health and Health Services strategic plans
Partner with Finance and other enabling functions to evaluate and prioritize strategic options and initiatives based on market information, quantitative analytics, resource capacity and value potential
Drives improved understanding and insights of client, customer, producer and partner needs and expectations, and develops and executes a strategy to meet them
Determine where to compete / targeted geographies and customer segments.
Facilitate establishment and socialization of shared vision and aspiration across the enterprise; drive prioritisation and planning to successfully execute the strategic plan.
Identify changes in the environment, macro-trends, stakeholders' needs and competitor strategies - evaluate, adjust, or redirect the business plan to address risk and capitalise on opportunity.
Provide expert insights to annual strategic planning process, leveraging stakeholder and competitive research and analysis, market sizing and projection modeling, and review of strengths/competency, opportunities and gaps.
Leadership of the strategy execution office and programme delivery resources, enabling resource allocation, prioritization and execution of core regional investment priorities.
Develop, manage and deliver executive reporting and presentations focused on strategy and business plans, with close attention to detail and synthesis of complex information into concise messages
Lead cross-functional teams of peers / senior colleagues in the creation of strategy deliverables and execution of strategic initiatives; direct the work efforts of supporting resources, as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree preferred; MBA or Masters Degree or equivalent experience
Strategic thinker, able to explore the 'big picture' then create the road map to make it happen
Insights driven, data led decision maker, balanced with the ability to leverage and develop foresight - anticipates and solves problems before they occur
Ability to build and leverage internal relationships
10+ years in strategy, business planning, M&A, business development, product, partnership management or related field
Experience in consulting, strategy, and / or business development preferred
Demonstrated track record of driving quantifiable business results
Passion and energy for inciting results through others; influences and inspires others to achieve
Effective leadership, prioritization and management of complex deliverable portfolio in a dynamic environment
Comfortable managing ambiguity and able to pivot direction as needed
Robust understanding of all relevant markets and ability to translate the trends and insights into a clear strategic roadmap for the delivery of market-leading and truly differentiating strategy and proposition.
