Description

The role of the Aesthetic GP is to conduct screenings, skin evaluations, and analyze the client's medical history to determine appropriate treatments.

The Dermatologist also provides clinical leadership, professional medical direction and services to Skin Laundry including, but not limited to, developing and implementing policies, procedures and best practices within the Dermatology department.

• Consult, diagnose and provide skin care treatments to clients and conduct skin examinations.
• Conduct a competent physical assessment using all resources at hand, observation and communication.
• Perform various cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, chemical peeling, Dermal fillers, PRP and microdermabrasion, threads etc.
• Provide treatment of facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, including understanding about the sun and its effect on the skin.
• Administer chemical treatments keeping pace with latest developments in the field.
• Participate and provide clinical leadership in the development and review of appropriate protocols that support consistent care.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all client records according to Skin Laundry's protocols and standards.
• Ensure all clients have their needs met and receive appropriate attention.
• Ensure that all procedures are in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Influence and facilitate change within the department in order to improve standards of care.
• Anticipate, recognize and manage emergencies, and unsafe situations/practice, and initiates appropriate and timely intervention.
• Promote an environment that enables client safety, independence, quality of life and health.
• Keep updated with the latest innovation and advancements in the area of expertise.
• Provide excellent client care and feedback.

• Demonstrates professional accountability and responsibility at all times.
• Complies with the code of conduct of the organization.
• Maintains the strictest confidentiality and performs all duties in a professional manner.
• Maintains own professional development folder to record all educational and professional growth activities.

• Excellent spoken Arabic and English.
• Analytical, quantitative and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel

• Aesthetics Certification as recognized by DOH
• Western Board certified preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Aesthetic physician.
• Must have experience in PRP, Antiaging mesotherapy, micro dermabrasion, derma roller, skin rejuvenation etc.

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
