We arelooking for a Procurement Engineer for one of our reputed client inUAE.

Below are theresponsibilities;

• Should be able toanalyze the Steel Structure drawings in Steel Fabrication.
• Check the quantities from the CADdrawings.
• Should have experience in finalizingthe sub contractors
• Finalize materialsuppliers for Steel Structure drawings in Steel Fabrication.
• Coordinate with the Design Estimation team& Project team for multiple projects at the same time.
• Finalize contractors and kick start projecton receipt of the permit as per BOQ Budget & Drawings atthe right time as per the Company approved paymentterms.
• Good communication skills in English& Hindi will be preferred.
• Goodknowledge in Excel Word CAD etc.
• Liaising withProject Coordinators/Planning Engineers/Site Engineers/Stores forMaterials equipments on daily basis.
• Responsible to obtain quotations for materials &machines from different vendors.
• To negotiateterms with vendors and engage them for long term mutuallybeneficial business relationship.
• Coordinationwith vendors for delivery of materials/goods on time.
• Confirming Purchase orders Generating LPO &liaison with Finance for clearing Funds.
• Obtaining Feedback from stores on receipt &quality of materials/equipment. Mobilizing & demobilizingsites.
• Assisting Construction Manager inmonitoring operational cost preparing statistics & budgetvariations etc.
• Tracking site materialconsumption. Demand Planning for each category.
• Enter and monitoring the data in computerizedsystem.
• Arranging Materials for inspection& certification purposes. Managing supplierfiles/records.
• Regular market research andcarrying out regular vendor ratings.
• Responsible to prepare weekly/monthly/yearly reports andsend to all concerned parties.
• Otherresponsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time.
• Should be well versed with materials related to interiorturnkey works such as building materials Steel Fabrication .andspecial items as required.
• Have strong andrecent database of suppliers and subcontractors to sourcematerials/works for in Steel Fabrication .
• Negotiating and administration of local purchases hiredskilled workers and subcontract works.
• Stockand materials management.
• Ensure allinvoices/bills of contractors and suppliers to be preapproved bythe cost control and immediate reporting manager.
• Work closely with design and projects team to arrangematerials for sample board presentations.
• Assist the estimations team for product pricing as andwhen required.
• Ensure all purchases are donesubsequent to an order confirmation related to the project and asinstructed.
• Ensure timely and accurate systemsare followed to avoid any lag in projectexecution.
