  • Food Hygiene Officer / QHSE Officer / Quality Assurance


We are looking for QHSE OFFICER who will be responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System.


The QHSE Officer will be fully responsible for implementing safe systems of work and safe behavioral practices of the organization.

This position provides QHSE guidance to the organization and supports the operation process in order to maintain and continually improve the safety culture and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring Central Production Unit processes run reliably and efficiently
  • Perform daily walk throughs in Central Production premises or supplier premises to monitor and ensure food safety
  • Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are met
  • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection goods / products to ensure the quality Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities Collect, compile, statistical quality data
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcome of quality activities
  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet the quality standards
  • Coordinate and support onsite audits conducted by external providers
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Monitor risk management activities
  • Responsible for document management systems
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirement.

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of waste management practices and hazards.
  • General knowledge of Environmental hazards and HSE principles.
  • Innovative and continual improvement mindset.
  • Effective problem identification and problem solving.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Hospitality or Catering
  • Must be Bachelor's degree in HSE or relevant
  • Should hold NEBOSH certificate as a minimum
  • Should have excellent analytical and MS Office skills
  • Food safety knowledge is must Fluency in written and verbal English language
  • Should be confident and possess a strong personality
  • Ability to resolve issues and handle pressure with a positive outlook
  • Able to provide detailed audit reports, with relevant required preventive and corrective measures
  • Possess excellent training and report writing skills Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Salary:
AED3, AED3,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
