    Description

    1. Job Purpose

    Search a wide range of media to build and sustain a good image for Sharjah Coop and its brand through planned publicity campaigns and PR activity

    Coordinates the visibility and public relations activities for Sharjah Coop in conjunction with PR team

    Oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media, and the public.

    2. Key Accountabilities

    Assist in writing, editing, and disseminating professional news, including press releases, newsletters, online content, media relation and internal and external communication materials.

    Organize press conferences such as arranging for people in the media to cover the events or conferences and assist with the planning and executing press launches and other promotional events.

    Organize and coordinate events, exhibitions, meetings, and all PR activities.

    Attend networking and media events, as well as meetings with clients, suppliers, and partner organizations, to discuss the different aspects of PR campaigns and activities.

    Deal and answer the enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations or redirect them to the concerned departments as per internal policies and procedures.

    Manage Sharjah Coop interaction with its customers and shareholders, media, and the public.

    Maintain an up-to-date press list by collecting and editing the contact information of Journalists and other members of the media.

    Liaise with Journalists, influencers, and other media members; pitch and secure the necessary media coverage.

    Follow up on all department deadlines and ensure that concerned stakeholders adhere to delivery and submission dates.

    Develop, coordinate and direct public relations activities to increase awareness, encourage opportunities.

    Collect public opinion of clients through polls, surveys, and social media listening.

    Conduct continuous research on the latest modern and traditional methods, techniques, and tools used in work to implement best business practices.

    Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

    Maintain positive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

    Prepare periodical reports which provide well-informed information on the PR section's tasks, problems/potential problems, results of efforts, recommendations for correction and translating complex findings into written text.

    Assist in planning of various marketing programs and assist the team members in any other tasks that may arise as required.

    Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
