Job Responsibilities:

Carry out assigned pipeline design work as part of a multi-discipline project teamTo provide discipline-specific design and drafting services that meet the Project and applicable statutory and regulatory requirementsAssume responsibility for the Pipeline design/drafting scope for the projectDevelop cost-effective pipeline design and drawingsTo coordinate with other disciplines for interdisciplinary checksDisplay working knowledge of industry-standard drafting practices, good mechanical aptitude, and general knowledge of engineeringTo prepare pipeline route studies, and desktop studies based on survey inputsTo prepare Pipeline Overall Route Maps, Key Plans, Alignment Sheets, Station Approach drawings Alignment sheets, pipeline typical construction drawings, etc.

in accordance with project specifications, international codes, and standardsPreparation of Pipeline Detail / Bulk MTOTo carry out detailed high-quality site visits, pipeline route surveys, and associated data collectionPreparation of Piping input Drawings for On-plot / off-plot interface Areas at the Process PlantCoordination with Topographical Contractors and Site personnel for the preparation of AFC Alignment sheets

Continuously provide critical shift-related information to frontline management and operators.


Job Requirements:

Diploma qualification or HND in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 15 years relevant experience in an engineering design companyKnowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and constructionExperience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferredPrevious experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantagePrevious Onshore Oil and Gas related Pipeline design experienceThorough awareness of International Design Guidelines and StandardsA determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operationFamiliarity with typical software packages that are used in preparing pipeline design drawings (Auto CAD, Google Earth).
