Description

• Provide an in-house mechanicaldesign and manufacturing/prototype capability to support thepropulsion development programs of the Air PowerDepartment
• Work with a team of technicians thatwill service a range of tasks from brazing, soldering, operating ahigh speed balancing machine, operate and maintain environmentalchambers, perform fitment of bearings and shafts, design, assembleand work with custom tools and jigs.
• Undertakedesign and support work throughout the life-cycle of the systemunder development, for all phases of conceptual design, preliminarydesign, detail design and development, manufacture, production,end-use support and phase-out/disposal
• Performprecise engineering calculations using theoretical methods as wellas computational simulations
  

Project Management:

• Work with suppliers to produce highprecision and quality designed and manufactured components withinthe schedule of the project.
