    Description

    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team at one of our client's orginzations as an Entry-Level Accountant. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal experience in accounting who is eager to kick-start their career in finance. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team and be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Expense Tracking:
    • Monitor and track business expenses.
    • Verify expense reports submitted by employees.
  • Assist in Budgeting:
    • Support in the preparation of budgets.
    • Monitor budgetary compliance.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Assist in analysing financial data and generating reports.
    • Provide support in identifying financial trends.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
    • Assist in preparing documentation for audits.
  • Communication:
    • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
    • Provide assistance to other departments regarding financial matters.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
    • Participate in training opportunities to enhance skills.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Experience as an Accountant is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
