Role Summary:


As an Accounting Manager at Seven Century Real Estate Brokers L.L.C, you will be a vital part of the accounts department of the company, in one of the most successful and progressive real estate agencies in the UAE.


Managing the department, establishing internal policies and procedures while adhering to central bank regulations as well as compliance with federal finance laws.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

  • Month and end-year process
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger payroll and utilities treasury
  • Budgeting cash Forecasting revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Capital assets reconciliations Trust account statement reconciliations,
  • Cheque runs, Fixed asset activity,
  • Debt activity Monitor and analyse accounting data
  • Produce financial reports or statements Establish
  • Enforce proper accounting methods
  • Policies, and principles Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Responsible for handling all financial transactions with clients and Banks
  • Responsible for keeping all transactions and data in Accounting Software of the company.


Provide recommendations Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy Meet financial accounting objectives Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager preferably in the Real Estate.


Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases Ability to manipulate large amounts of data Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to direct and supervise.


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance2 years' experience in similar or same roles in UAE
  • Strong Knowledge about UAE Financial Laws and procedures.
  • Strong Knowledge about AML Procedures and Laws.
  • Experience of handling VAT and making proper records
- ability to demonstrate presence and credibility within the organization
- ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels due to the confidential nature of the information dealt with.

  • The role holder needs to be able discreet and to handle matters sensitively with concerns escalated appropriately
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
