Job Purpose-
The role of the machine operator is to install, maintain, and operate machinery. He must have a strong understanding of the machines they work with. Carry out task assigned with their daily duties. may work with mechanical or computer operated equipment. They must be technically-inclined and be able to properly utilize tools and machinery. Since problems with machinery may arise, must be able to analyze situations and find solutions. should be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed.


Functional Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
• Operate tools in order to aid in the Waste Recycling Process.
• Carry out production, inspection, waste processing and machine operation duties
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Effectively monitor production equipment
• Assist the shop technicians and materials clerk as necessary
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clean work space
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.

Education & Experience Guidelines:

• High school Diploma (Electrical & Electronics )/Skilled trade certification from approved authorities
• Automation, SCADA systems & PLCs
• 2 years + similar role (waste management, food processing industry etc.)

• Fluent in English & Solid communication skills both written and verbal

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Knowledge of safety precaution.
• Good interpersonal skills to relate cordially with team members and workers.

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
• Critical thinking, ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning.

Up to AED1,800.00 per month
