Description

We are looking for an experienced production manager to manage our manufacturing and installation works.

The production manager must ideally have experience in print, joinery, metalwork, acrylic fabrication and signage or at least some of these functions.

The roles and responsibilities of a production manager will be as follows:

To assist with guidance to the estimating team for manufacturing guidance in order that projects can be costed accurately by giving expertise or technical advice where required
Assist with the design to ensure items get printed, cut and fabricated correctly with as close to zero error rate as possible.
To plan production using our electronic planning
Ensuring all materials are available for each job way in advance of production to ensure that production goes smoothly
To manage shop floor staff and functions, ensuring safe and efficient working practices
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Check and be responsible for the quality of all work produced
Manage the installations the company performs including site surveys and attendance on site.
Maintenance of all equipment/ tools
Checking of staff PPE ad enforcing company policies
Recording of tie spent on all jobs by individual and putting into the ERP for the maintenance of complete job costing
Be responsible for the overheads within the production department
