We have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join the team in our engineering department.

What will you do?

Executes assignments.
Completes repairs as detailed in the repairs and maintenance requests.
Works within the given time frames of the project requirements.
Competence to produce assistance in a safe/ satisfactory manner as requested by other department.
Checks that all electrical system, plant room of the hotel is functioning properly and safe to work with.
Reports any malfunctioning of equipment immediately to superior for action.
Consistently performs in accordance with set levels.
To perform any other duties and may be assigned from time to time by the Engineering Management.
Cooperates and co-ordinates with colleagues and outside contractors whenever necessary.
Interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
Participates in the discussion.
Contributes in problem solving.
Notes all important information and plan/deliver products on time.
Highlights achievements, problems and challenges.
Improves customer delight programmes by introducing quality workmanship and services.
Completes the par stock of all necessary electrical equipment and spare parts.
Orders any additional items required for special repairs or new works in accordance to the committed trainings.
Maintains and ensure all equipments are at its best operating efficiency.
Minimizes use of packing supplies.
Utilize waste/recycling of reusable parts.
Handles all equipment in a proper Manner.
Practices accident prevention Measures.
Adheres to fire prevention and safety measures in the Plant Room Workshop and workplace.
Upkeep workplace cleanliness and free from hazards daily after work.
Clean/tidy up daily after work.
Organizes disposal items safely in a timely fashion.
Practices good personal safety, i.e., usage of masks, gloves, etc.
Reports to work in a well-groomed standard.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style.
