They analyze financial records, statements, and documentation provided by policyholders to verify the coverage and premiums charged. Insurance Auditors work closely with underwriters, insurance agents, and policyholders to ensure the proper assessment of risk and premiums. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of insurance policies and supporting documents.
• Review financial records, statements, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
• Verify the coverage, premiums, and deductibles stated in the insurance policy.
• Identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the information provided.
• Communicate audit findings to insurance agents, policyholders, and underwriters.
• Collaborate with underwriters to identify risk factors and assess the appropriate premiums.
• Ensure that insurance policies comply with state and federal regulations.
• Implement corrective measures and recommendations based on audit findings. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in auditing or insurance is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
