- Assistwith converting Mine Planning conceptual layouts into Surveydata
- Rollingsixmonth plan showing depletions tons grade etc.
- Wastedump planning and dumping strategy (liaison with Mining and MineSurvey)
- Designand siting of drainage (surface & underground in liaisonwith Mining and MineSurvey)
- Schedulesshort term planning sessions(preplanning)
- Liaiseswith Long Term Planning Engineer (external) Mining and MRMfunctions (Geology & Survey) and gains agreement/commitmenton short term plans beforeimplementation
- Coordinatesgathering of data and inputs for short term planningsessions
- Assistwith ventilation layouts and ad hoc monitoring thereof.
- Usesreconciliations to analyse performance to provide input intocorrective planning
- Coordinatesdailyreporting
- Ensurethat the Mining Contractor adheres to Survey layouts andlimits
- VerifySurveycalculated monthly volumetric and spatial reconciliationagainst Monthly Mine Plans and report on variances as well ascorrective measures whenrequired.
- Assistwith compiling Monthly Mining Reconciliation reports (with Survey)and compiling MRM Reports
- Mentorindividuals to enhance the individuals knowledge skills values andattitudes
- Conductonthejob training and coaching as required or where deemednecessary
- CertifiedMining Professional / MineEngineer
- 10 yearsof experience in MinePlanning
- Undergroundexperience / Open Pit would be beneficial
