    Description

    We are looking to hire a TMS Analyst for our client, a leading semi-government entity who manage a diverse portfolio in business communities, hospitality, tourism, real estate, and telecommunications.

    The TMS Analyst will be responsible for the automation of treasury functions, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and centralised group-wide view of all outstanding positions, duedates, and risks. This requires active coordination with the TMS Partner and Technology team during its early implementation stages to help build & configure software tools that will transform Treasury operations. It includes other tasks to lead daily bank reconciliations, daily review of MT940 statements, counter party exposures reporting and periodic reconciliation with operating entities and other parties all within the TMS. The individual is expected to develop good understanding of the Treasury Management System and Straight through payment process (STPP).

    This is a contract role with an initial period of 6 months, however could be extended by the client.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    • Comprehensive skills set to dive deep into functional configurations, process solution design, extend TMS features and associated modules to build global cash position and forecasting capabilities (inclusive of FX executed trades and debt and investment issuance's with varying maturities), implementing an automated closing cash-process, and launching h2h payments secured with complex approval matrixes as per Bank mandate for all required local UAE based and international banks
    • Understand Cash&Bank and Payment modules for the TMS. The candidate should be able to manage changes to the setup with the help of TMS Customer Support and internal tech teams.
    • Daily review of MT940 statements for all accounts across the group. Identify any missing statements, follow up with Banks, Vendor or/and Opcos as appropriate to ensure availability.
    • Acquire understanding of the process flow for the SFTP. Be the first level contact for all verticals of the organization for issues related to middle-ware setup where coordination with IT, banks or TMS partner is needed for resolutions.
    • Bank statement reporting, cash management and forecasting, payments, netting, InHouse Banking(IHB), bank account management, user administration of financial transactions (e.g., FX Trading), debt management and bank fee analysis.
    • Regularly monitor and Identify improvement areas in Treasury operations to ensure effective and efficient treasury management system in term of building alerts, fraud prevention setups in TMS, Build additional checks/validation for unusual business scenarios
    • Perform a lead/administrator role to manage TMS accounts / Userbook to maintain accurate payment authorizers,new verticals/Entities/banks and bank accounts configuration,profile changes and other major setup in line with bank and Enterprise ERP applications.
    • Coordinate with Finance to ensure smooth accounting run at the month end.Be the first level contact for any issue and work with the team to resolve the matter.
    • Provide support on adhoc assignments/projects/developing dashboards and other Reporting requirements as appropriate.

    Knowledge, skills & experience:

    • Bachelor degree in finance or related education.
    • Strong understanding of Treasury Management Systems(TMS) along with 3-4years' experience of any global TMS product as an administrator or coordinator in implementation.
    • Experience in Kyriba will be an advantage.
    • Understanding of transactional banking.
    • Drive architectural and design choices, recommend new features which can optimize and lead a scalable, performance-driven Treasury workstation.
    • Functional knowledge of core Treasury processes, including cash positioning, forecasting, bank account management, payment authorization architecture in TMS, FX, netting, and settlement
    • Functional knowledge of core Finance processes, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, entity setup, direct/indirect taxes, and inter company.
    • Prior experience with Treasury workstation implementations – either application or project ownership – highly desired.
