JOBCONTENT

Tomanufacture mould parts using CNC machine tools as per the approveddesign with required quality and finish with optimum utilization ofman andmachine.

FUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect rawmaterials and products to ensure there are no visual defects; takecorrective action asneeded.

Setup the jobusing the CNC machine in total compliance with the specificationsprovided in accordance to the standard operating instructionswithin the allotted timeframe.

Prepare simpleprogram in machinecontrol.

Keep allassigned machines running for production ensuring productivity ismaintained at 100% or above through proper setups and operation ofmachinery to minimize cost to the department while maintainingscheduleintegrity.

Ensure efficientand profitable operation of the defined work center by optimumusage of tools consumablesetc.

Conduct stageinspection of the product at required phases and make necessaryrecords accordingly.

Recognizepotential problems with products or processes and inform superiorsto ensure that quality standards are maintained.

Conductpreventive maintenance daily to ensure equipment is in good workingcondition by oiling greasing and periodically freeing equipment ofchips.

Ensure machinemaintenance is scheduled in collaboration with maintenancedepartment and adhere toit.

Toensure proper documentation of work done and in a manner wellaccessible everytime.

Maintain logbook to ensure proper communication regarding machine error /program error /missing program /accidents.

Ensure properhanding over of machine and instruction communicated to next shiftoperator.

Train and guidethe helpers in operating the machine as per SOP wheninstructed.

Strictly followhousekeeping procedures including machine and tool equipmentcleaning and ensure the surrounding area is absolutely clean and inorder.

Follow company sHSE guidelines in respect of all operations undertaken and followsafety precautions highlighted in the SOP & manuals.Communicate potential hazards immediately tosupervisor.

Ensurecompliance to Safety Quality Food Safety and Environmentrequirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System withstrict adherence to ISO and local regulatoryauthority.

Ensure that allrecords and documents are up to date and have full traceability andretrieval at all times and that all processes procedures &activities comply with ISO and managementprocedures.

Perform anyother job/task given by the Production Supervisor to accomplishdepartmentobjectives.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications

ITI(Machinist /Fitter)

Experience

Minimum 12 yearsof CNC Machining experience in an established tool room in UAE/GCCregion.

Fairunderstanding ofGcodes

Ability to readEngineeringdrawing

Knowledge onMachinability of differentmetals

Knowledge ofQuality systems andprocedures.
