Job ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and follow up on prior E- authorization for outpatient/inpatient services.
Take approval for prescriptions from Outpatient clinicsSend approval and follow up for E-claim prescriptionsMonitor approvals from wait list in Meditech.
Works under the supervision of the immediate managerMonitors the pending list on a daily basisJob Requirements
Pharmacy diploma or equivalentAt least two years' experience in Outpatient Pharmacy field.
Recommended experience at least two years experience in the field of insurance and ERX authorization process.
Recommended knowledge of authorizationrequirements and other pre-requisites of insurance companiesRecommended knowledge of coverage of insurance companies and exclusions
