- Develop and implement the overall QA/QC strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Provide strategic direction for quality assurance and quality control processes across the product lifecycle.
- Lead end-to-end quality crisis, coordinating global teams at all levels toward a fast resolution.
- Monitor the Quality budget
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of QA/QC professionals.
- Manage and provide remote guidance to the QC Manager based in China and a QC consultant based in Italy.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the QA/QC team.
- Develop and implement flawlessly a robust QA processes to ensure the consistent quality of products (Formula and Packaging).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential quality issues (Formula and Packaging).
- Implement effective QC processes to monitor and verify product quality at various stages of production (Formula, Packaging, Label, Fill and Assembly).
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to establish, maintain quality standards and minimize/eliminate quality issue postproduction (Formula, Packaging, Label. Fill and Assembly).
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to stay up on of global beauty and skincare regulations, ensuring the company's compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality standards and performance criteria.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a partnership approach to quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in QA/QC processes.
- Ensure a comprehensive collection of data about quality defects and client complaints, share statistical analysis, and drive the product improvement plans.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on QA/QC performance, challenges, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quality expectations and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, Quality management or a relevant field;
- Proven experience in QA/QC leadership roles within the beauty or skincare industry.
- Familiarity with global beauty regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead remote teams effectively.
- Excellence in Problem-solving, analytics and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
