    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement the overall QA/QC strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
    • Provide strategic direction for quality assurance and quality control processes across the product lifecycle.
    • Lead end-to-end quality crisis, coordinating global teams at all levels toward a fast resolution.
    • Monitor the Quality budget

    2. Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of QA/QC professionals.
    • Manage and provide remote guidance to the QC Manager based in China and a QC consultant based in Italy.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the QA/QC team.

    3. Quality Assurance:

    • Develop and implement flawlessly a robust QA processes to ensure the consistent quality of products (Formula and Packaging).
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential quality issues (Formula and Packaging).

    4. Quality Control:

    • Implement effective QC processes to monitor and verify product quality at various stages of production (Formula, Packaging, Label, Fill and Assembly).
    • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to establish, maintain quality standards and minimize/eliminate quality issue postproduction (Formula, Packaging, Label. Fill and Assembly).

    5. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to stay up on of global beauty and skincare regulations, ensuring the company's compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

    6. Supplier Management:

    • Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality standards and performance criteria.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a partnership approach to quality.

    7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in QA/QC processes.
    • Ensure a comprehensive collection of data about quality defects and client complaints, share statistical analysis, and drive the product improvement plans.

    8. Communication and Reporting:

    • Provide regular updates to senior management on QA/QC performance, challenges, and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quality expectations and requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, Quality management or a relevant field;
    • Proven experience in QA/QC leadership roles within the beauty or skincare industry.
    • Familiarity with global beauty regulations and standards.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage and lead remote teams effectively.
    • Excellence in Problem-solving, analytics and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
