Job Description:


We are looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst to work with us on redefining a Web Portal to offer various product and Services to its users.


Technical & Product

  • Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to understand and document the current business processes and identify areas for improvement or define new processes.

Analysis and Documentation

  • Analyze the gathered requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
  • Create detailed documentation, such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases, to communicate the requirements to development teams.
  • Write user stories with detailed information and acceptance criteria following INVEST criteria (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable.
  • Write Business requirements as part of RFP (Request for proposal) documents which are clear and understandable by vendors.
  • Create competitor benchmarking reports.

Solution Design

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements.
  • Define system functionalities, workflows, and user interfaces to meet the business needs.
  • Assist in making technology recommendations and evaluating vendor products.
  • Assists the QA team in the validation and testing activities to ensure that the implemented designs meet the specific requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Influence stakeholders to support business projects

Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and systems analysis
  • Familiarity with business process modelling, workflow tools

Innovative & Analytical Mindset

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements
  • Experience of working with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, lucid, Figma etc.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

Qualifications:


  • 46 years experience working in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience working in an agency environment would be preferred
  • Good technical experience
  • Great communication skills
