Job Purpose:

To insource development work, integrate systems, provide rapid turnaround of minor enhancements and new innovation experiments and solutions.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Serve as technical point of contact on engagements.
• Educate and validate solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life.
• Accountable for the technical decision making, defining successful outcomes and owning engineering execution in the team.
• Develop business cases for investments to drive improvements in metrics.
• Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates.
• Work with product management to direct priorities and ensure successful execution.
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure-based solutions.
• Implement security and compliance policies for Azure-based solutions
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, NESA, Banking regulations and CIS standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical & cost leadership and guidance to stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system
• Experience with VMware hypervisor
• Manage, deploy, and maintain Azure AVD VDI Infrastructure
• Provisioning and management of Cloud environments (compute, storage, network & security resources)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Azure Security Centre, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Certificate Services, AD Connect, Conditional policies, Azure Policy, Azure Networking.
• Adept with Azure cloud deployment, manageability, and security.
• Practiced with APIs and Microservices.
• Skilled with scripting and frameworks – Agile, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Reliability Engineering
