Description
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant, you are responsible for the collection and definition of technical solution requirements through to the implementation and deployment of the solution.
Day-to-day Activities:
- Participate in client functional and technical workshops, to analyze and design Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical solutions.
- Define and evaluate the nonfunctional/technical requirements for each business process in your workstream.
- Write technical specifications and collaborate with the functional team to ensure functional and technical requirements are understood and well defined.
- Document the system extensions, integrations and prepare project documentation deliverables.
- Support key users in system integration acceptance testing.
- Develop 'proof of concept' solutions where required.
- Management of multiple cloud instances and On-Premises instances of Dynamics including initial deployment, code releases, and database copies, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.
- Code release management, ensuring successful build and deployment to relevant environments with appropriate release notes.
- Solve technical issues encountered, raising to Microsoft support as required.
Job Requirement:
- Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations and/or Dynamics AX.
- Minimum 3 years experience designing and developing extensions/customizations for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations/Dynamics AX solutions.
- Experience in the design and implementation of system integration to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations/Dynamics AX Ideally gained on Microsoft Azure Integration Architecture with LogicApps.
- Experience of Microsoft Common Data Service and the Microsoft Power Platform would be an advantage.
- Possess sound consulting skills with 13 years of clientfacing experience with an implementation partner.
- Strong technical requirements gathering skills with demonstrable experience.
- Able to learn and adapt to delivery tools and methodology.
- Excellent presentation skills with outstanding written and verbal English.
- Resultsoriented and selfmotivated to deliver with excellence.
- Clientcentric attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for learning and development.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of X++ language.
- Create SSRS reports.
- Relevant Microsoft D365/Power Platform Certifications are strongly preferred.
- Knowledgeable in XDS with demonstrated experience.
